Directions
From South eg. Perth
- Head North on the A9.
- Left exit at Bankfoot.
- Ignore the 1st road signposted Murthly as you near Bankfoot.
- Keep going through Bankfoot on the B867
- Pass Waterloo,heading for Dunkeld
- Take the right turn signposted for Murthly
- Murthly Sawmill is approx 1/3 of a mile on the left before you cross a railway bridge.
- Distance from Bankfoot approx 3.5 miles.
From North eg. Pitlochry
- Head South on the A9.
- Pass Dunkeld and Birnam.
- Shortly after this Bankfoot is signposted to your right B867. (If you missed this turn and are closer to Bankfoot itself going South, take the new slip road for Bankfoot, go under the A9 and then follow the “From South” directions from Bankfoot.)
- Take the B867 for a little over one mile
- Take the left turn to Murthly - signpost is just before a bus stop on the left hand side of the road.
- Murthly Sawmill is approx 1/3 of a mile on the left before you cross a railway bridge.
From N.E. eg. Blairgowrie
- Head West towards Dunkeld on the A984.
- At Caputh, turn left for Murthly and Perth - B9099.
- Cross the River Tay
- Keep going until you come to the 30mph sign in Murthly.
- Turn sharp right into a side road signed for Pittensorn.
- Follow this road for 2 ½ miles.
- Once you cross the railway bridge, we are just past the haulier's yard on the right.
