Fencing

See three different kinds of wooden fencing which have all been constructed from timber and hardware products supplied by Murthly Sawmill in the photo sequence below. Fence posts supplied are from selected Grade 1 or 2 timber. See also 4 examples from the Athol range of garden furniture.

Although the sawmill does not install fencing, through long experience we can advise on high quality and reasonably priced fence construction services in your own area. We can also advise you which products to buy based on your garden fencing plans. All timber has been pressure treated, which means that the timber is less likely to rot and is as a result much more durable than if untreated. All the components you need can be supplied from the yard or from our hardware shop, for example, nails, fixings, metal posts and other ironmongery.

New Garden Sleepers

For garden use and shown below in various garden settings as supplied by Murthly Sawmill. These are new sleepers as opposed to reclaimed railway sleepers which are no longer permitted to be used.
